Kakelgiganten Sweden AB operates Kakelgiganten Social Media Manager, an internal content management and scheduling application used to prepare, manage and publish content to Kakelgiganten's social media accounts and other digital marketing channels.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when the application connects to third-party platforms and APIs.
Information we process
Depending on the connected platform, the application may process:
- Account and profile identifiers
- Social media pages, boards or similar publishing destinations
- Posts, Pins and other published content
- Titles, descriptions, images, videos and destination URLs
- Product information from Kakelgiganten's ecommerce systems
- Technical authentication and authorization information required to connect to third-party platforms
How we use the information
Information is used solely to:
- Prepare draft social media content
- Select appropriate publishing destinations
- Schedule and publish approved content
- Manage content published through the application
- Monitor the technical status of published content
- Maintain authorized connections to supported third-party platforms
The application is an internal tool used by authorized employees of Kakelgiganten Sweden AB and is not offered as a public service to consumers.
Third-party platform integrations
The application may connect to third-party services through their official APIs. Information received through these integrations is processed only to provide the functionality described above and in accordance with the applicable platform's terms and developer policies.
When connected to Pinterest, the application may process information associated with Kakelgiganten's authorized Pinterest Business account, including boards, Pins, Pin identifiers, titles, descriptions, images and destination URLs.
Pinterest API access is used to read our authorized boards and to create and manage Pins that have been reviewed and approved for publication by an authorized Kakelgiganten employee.
The application does not use Pinterest API data to scrape Pinterest, generate artificial engagement, automatically follow accounts, send messages or interact with third-party users without their knowledge or consent.
Authentication
Connections to third-party platforms are made using their supported authorization methods, such as OAuth.
The application does not collect or store users' passwords for third-party platforms.
Authorization tokens may be stored securely where necessary to maintain authorized integrations.
Sharing of information
We do not sell information obtained through third-party APIs.
Information may be processed by service providers where necessary to operate the application's infrastructure and functionality.
Data retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to operate the application, manage our content and meet applicable legal or technical requirements.
Authorization information may be deleted when an integration is disconnected or when the application is no longer used.
Data security
